Our Novel Approach to Perfecting Topical Cannabinoids

Typical CBD (or CBG) creams are not very effective. Our mission is simple: make a cannabinoid cream that actually works. Cannabinoids have shown promise in many applications by interacting with the human endocannabinoid system¹. To take advantage of these fascinating molecules, we developed a high potency cream that is optimized for penetration on all areas of skin and suitable for all skin types. This was done by carefully optimizing three key factors:

Penetration

Topical Cannabinoids Have Typically Been Ineffective Due to Issues Penetrating the Skin²

The success of 2.AG starts with designing the delivery vehicle. Our patent pending intercellular carrier is formulated to bring the cannabinoids to muscles and joints through the intercellular route, or between the cells. It requires balancing many competing factors to allow the cream to move through the hydrated and lipid-heavy layers of your skin.

Most CBD topicals are mixed in premade bases of oils, butters, waxes, and salves. These do not penetrate well past the upper layers of your skin.

The design of a carrier to move cannabinoids through the skin is complex.

The amount and type of penetration enhancers, exfoliators, moisturizers, cannabinoids, and solvents all effect penetration, feel, and overall effectiveness. Each one of these is perfectly optimized to create a cannabinoid cream that actually works.
